Please note:
- The water features in the Splashpad are turned on between May 1 and Oct. 15 and will be turned off during the Summer Season when temperatures dip below 70 degrees.

Our 12-acre village comes to life during the summer season. Enter the buildings and meet costumed interpreters who will share the experiences of daily life, work and celebration in a 19th century Midwestern town. Stroll the grounds and feel free to talk with the young people involved in old-fashioned children's activities. Interactive guest programs, special events and tours abound, so check our calendar for events.

Winter Season:  November through March
Hours:
Tuesday-Friday, 10:00 am-4:00 pm

Although the village building interiors are closed to the public during the winter season, your admission includes a self-guided audio tour of the village grounds and Visitor Center, where you will find a changing exhibit hall and our award winning "Brushstrokes of the Past" exhibit, and the tavern.
The museum is closed on New Year's Day and January 2, 2015, President's Day, Memorial Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after (Nov. 28, 2014), and the Christmas holidays (December 24-26, 2014).
